The "new" Tuscarawas County Port Authority Business Park actually traces its roots back for nearly a century and a half - but more recently has been home to the former Reeves Steel Mill and then A-K Steel manufacturing facility. With support from Tuscarawas County commissioners, the Tuscarawas County Port Authority was able to acquire the buildings, encompassing (000,000) square feet and 000 additional acres of land - all with good access via highways, rail or airports.

A major renovation was launched, with cooperative support from regional contractors and financial institutions, and portions of the building were prepared for a series of new companies that currently occupy portions of the buildings. Renovation continues as the Port Authority seeks out new tenants for this historic facility that's once again moving to the forefront of the Tuscarawas County, Ohio business community.
