Tenant Expectations
The Tuscarawas County Business Incubator expects to work with each of its tenant companies in an environment of cooperation and trust, leading to the company's successful launch and graduation. However, the Incubator reserves the right to terminate its services to any tenant company failing to meet the Incubator's expectations and rights. They include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
- A continual increase in sales and employment growth
- Working cooperatively with all other tenant companies including, where and when feasible, the sharing of ideas, information and resources
- Providing timely responses to Incubator requests
- Participation in all Incubator-sponsored programs
- A prohibition from offering employment to an employee of another Incubator tenant company unless the affected company provides express permission in advance
- Upon request, providing the Incubator with financial documents including, but not limited to, balance sheets, profit and loss statements and payroll reports
It is the responsibility of both the Incubator director and the Tenant Review Committee to give each tenant company clear and timely notification of a failure(s) to meet the Incubator's expectations as well as adequate opportunity to correct same.
